The design of this silk scarf is based on Vincent Van Gogh's painting "Amandier en fleurs", 1890.
From 1887, Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) already developed his own personal style, synthesis between Impressionism and Pointillism. It's likely that this painting was achieved for the birth of his brother's son. It is the outcome of a series of Japanese style exercises inspired by the study of Adolphe Monticelli's flower paintings.
