Since its founding in 1998, Barcino has engrossed itself in the world of mosaic and "Trencandis" style. The result of this fascination has been exciting life-like hand-painted sculptures, brimming with detail and colour for Barcino collectors to enjoy.
The Trencadis is a term describing a type of typical mosaic of the Catalan modernist architecture. The Catalan architects used the Trencadis in numerous projects, of which the Park Güell which is doubtless the most famous.
