The Létol workshop was founded in 2011 in Charlieu, a small town in the northern Loire region of France, a land of weaving for centuries. Each scarf is made on a jacquard loom. This technique creates a pattern by interlacing cotton threads. Unlike a printed fabric, this creates a certain relief that makes the material more "lively," airy, and very pleasant to wear. It also allows for the reversible and doubly aesthetic aspect of the pattern, which is present on both the front and back of the scarf.

• GOTS: Certifies that your stole is made of organic cotton.
• ECOCERT integrates and validates all stages of textile processing: the raw fiber must be certified organic, and the entire transformation process must meet environmental and social criteria.
• Environnemental Display: This label indicates that consumers must be able to choose products based on their environmental impact. "Altertex" participates in this program and is campaigning for this label to be mandatory.
• Label France Terre Textile: Guarantees that at least 75% of the production operations for the labeled item are carried out in French textile factories.
• Guaranteed French Origin: This label ensures consumers better product traceability. Two criteria are essential to obtain this label: between 50% and 100% of the unit cost must be French, and the product must acquire its essential characteristics in France.
• Living Heritage Company: Since September 2017, Tissages de Charlieu has received this label, established by the French government to recognize French companies with excellent artisanal and industrial know-how and promote their growth and development.
