This sculpture is made in bronze patina. It represents a Viking armed with two axes during a fight. The main goal of the Vikings was that Scandinavia was a land with limited resources and a very cold climate. This is why the Vikings undertook expeditions beyond the seas, seeking wealth and land to colonize. Their priority was to expand by promoting trade and plunder for the benefit of their clan. The Vikings inspired fear with their long ships which gave them the ability not only to cross oceans, but also to navigate shallow waters, even allowing them to land directly on beaches.
