The American artist Ed Heck lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. After studying art, he first worked as an illustrator for the American Museum of Natural History. Then he began to create his own dinosaurs and other characters. Ed Heck developed his art fromhis passion formusic and prehistoric animals. His unpretentious and simple lifestyle also corresponds to his painting style, which is characterised by a reduction to the essential, spicedwith a dash of smart humour. His trademark is the shaky black outline, "Life can be fun" is hismotto.
