"Petros" is a tribute to the most famous pink pelican, which was first rescued and cared for by a fisherman. He then lived on the streets of the Greek island of Mykonos for nearly 30 years, letting people around the world pet and feed him, eventually becoming the island's mascot. After his death in 1986, Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Hamburg Zoo donated pelicans to the island of Mykonos to continue this fine tradition.

Tom's collections combine individual, amusing, eccentric and often provocative objects and creatures, that all have something in common: they break the rigid rules of everyday life and spread high spirits.

They are colourful, amusing, provocative: the Drags express pure life and make it totally possible to make assumptions on their creator. Indeed, Thomas A. Hoffmann, the "father of the Drags", spreads his joy in his figurines, statues, objects and furniture. They all have eccentric originality, a lot of humour and an extraordinary charm. As he says "the most important aspect for me is the good mood they carry with them". The Drags leave no one indifferent – you love them or you hate them. They catch the eye and force the onlooker to have an opinion.
